RIYADH — The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) introduced on Saturday that land, sea, and air customs ports recorded 1,455 seizures of contraband objects over the past week.
The seized objects included 46 kinds of narcotics resembling cannabis, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and Captagon tablets, weapons, along with 536,558 prohibited substances.
The authority acknowledged that customs ports additionally seized 2,532 packages of tobacco and its derivatives, together with 28 circumstances involving money and three kinds of weapons and associated tools.
ZATCA affirmed its dedication to strengthening customs management over the Kingdom’s imports and exports to make sure the safety and safety of society, by steady cooperation and coordination with all its companions from related authorities.
