Saudi college students compete in Ibda’a 2026 science exhibition


Saudi Gazette reportRIYADH — 2 hundred female and male Saudi college students are competing in “Ibda’a 2026” for an opportunity to signify the Kingdom at worldwide scientific competitions. The sixteenth version of the Creativity Exhibition for Science and Engineering is being held from January 25 to 29 on the Princess Nouf bint Abdulaziz Worldwide Convention Heart. College students are showcasing 200 scientific initiatives throughout 22 scientific fields, chosen from greater than 34,000 submissions to the Nationwide Olympiad for Scientific Creativity. A complete of 68 winners will qualify to signify Saudi Arabia in worldwide and regional competitions, together with the Worldwide Science and Engineering Honest (ISEF) in the US, in addition to scientific exhibitions in Malaysia and Taiwan. “Ibda’a 2026” has recorded document participation of greater than 357,000 college students, reflecting the Kingdom’s increasing expertise base.
