JEDDAH — Deputy Emir of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mishaal launched 17 improvement tasks within the industrial cities of Jeddah and the Second Industrial Metropolis of Makkah with a complete worth exceeding SR2.5 billion in a ceremony held in Jeddah on Wednesday.
The launching ceremony, which was held below the patronage of Advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Emir of Makkah Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, was attended by Minister of Business and Mineral Assets Bandar Alkhorayef, together with a number of princes and senior officers.
The tasks embrace the event of infrastructure networks throughout an space exceeding 11 million sq. meters, the development of 160 new ready-built factories, the implementation of water transmission pipelines and enlargement of a water station, the institution of a high quality laboratory inside the meals cluster, in addition to electrical energy and shared providers tasks. These initiatives aimed to boost service sustainability and help the accelerating development of the economic and logistics sectors.
