RAMALLAH — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas acquired Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan on Monday because the Saudi envoy offered his credentials as non-resident ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Palestine.
Through the ceremony, held on the Palestinian Presidential Guesthouse, Prince Mansour conveyed the greetings and appreciation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, prime minister of Saudi Arabia, to President Abbas.
The Palestinian president requested the envoy to convey his greetings and appreciation in return to the Saudi management.
Abbas expressed deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s main function in supporting Arab and Islamic causes, significantly the Palestinian trigger, and wished the Saudi ambassador success in his duties to additional strengthen bilateral relations throughout all fields.
The credential ceremony was attended by President Abbas’ diplomatic adviser Majdi Khaldi, Palestinian Ambassador to Jordan Attallah Khairy, and Director of Protocol and Ceremonies on the Palestinian Presidency Ambassador Hussein Hussein.
