Saudi air defenses intercept 16 drones focusing on Shaybah subject

RIYADH — Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed 16 drones focusing on the Shaybah oil subject within the Empty Quarter, the Protection Ministry mentioned in a collection of statements on Saturday.
Protection Ministry spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki mentioned 4 drones have been intercepted and destroyed within the Empty Quarter whereas heading towards Shaybah subject.

In a separate assertion, he mentioned six extra drones have been intercepted and destroyed in one other tried assault on the sphere.
