Saudi Central Financial institution broadcasts Official Holidays and Working Hours for Banks till 2029
Eid al-Fitr holidays for banks and monetary establishments:
➤ 2026: March 17–23
➤ 2027: March 7–11
➤ 2028: February 27–March 2
➤ 2029: February 12–18
Eid al-Adha holidays for banks and monetary establishments:
➤ 2026: Might 24–28
➤ 2027: Might 16–20
➤ 2028: Might 3–9
➤ 2029: April 22–26
Eid al-Fitr holidays for RTGS:
➤ 2026: March 19–22
➤ 2027: March 8–10
➤ 2028: February 27–28
➤ 2029: February 13–15
Eid al-Adha holidays for RTGS:
➤ 2026: Might 26–28
➤ 2027: Might 16–18
➤ 2028: Might 4–7
➤ 2029: April 23–25
Different official holidays:
✅ Founding Day: February 22 (identical weekend adjustment guidelines apply).
Ramadan working hours:
🔹 Banks with purchasers: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
🔹 Remittance facilities and fee service suppliers: six-hour shifts between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
🔹 RTGS: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with clearing homes operating in line with system schedules.
Hajj season providers:
Banks, trade facilities, and fee suppliers should preserve seasonal branches open in Makkah, Madinah, airports, seaports, and border crossings and through weekends to serve pilgrims and guests.
Further service branches:
Some branches in residential and high-demand areas should additionally stay open throughout vacation durations. Their names and dealing hours can be introduced publicly.
