RIYADH — Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson of the Ministry of Protection, mentioned that Saudi air protection methods intercepted and destroyed on Thursday a drone east of Al-Jouf Area in northern Saudi Arabia.
Earlier on the day, the spokesman revealed that air protection forces intercepted and destroyed three cruise missiles and three drones close to Al-Kharj, about 80 kilometers southeast of Riyadh.
Saudi Arabia expressed its rejection and condemnation within the strongest phrases of the blatant and cowardly Iranian assaults concentrating on Saudi areas reminiscent of Riyadh and the Japanese Province. Saudi Arabia considers these assaults unjustifiable underneath any pretext or in any kind.
