Estrdad Initiative: Saudi Arabia’s SR1.5 Billion Payment Refund Program for Startups and SMEs

Saudi Arabia has began the second version of the Estrdad initiative, a program that refunds authorities charges to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This system is value SR1.5 billion ($400 million).

The charges that may be refunded embody:

➤ 80% of the expatriate levy.

➤ Industrial registration charges.


➤ Municipality license charges.

➤ Contract publication prices.

➤ Saudi Submit subscriptions.

➤ Chambers of Commerce subscriptions.

➤ Trademark registration charges.

➤ Patent registration charges.

➤ Financial exercise license charges.

The addition of refunds for patent registration is a significant enchancment on this version that intends to encourage innovation in Saudi corporations. Advocate: New Saudi Meals Regulation violations desk

The registration interval for this system will final till the top of 2026, and refunds shall be given out till 2028.

To be eligible, a enterprise should:

✅ Be totally or largely Saudi-owned.

✅ Meet the Saudization guidelines.

✅ Be lower than three years outdated as of Jan. 1, 2024.

✅ Have not less than one registered worker.
