RIYADH — The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) arrested 127 authorities workers over expenses of corruption. The arrests had been made following 1,543 oversight visits carried out over the past month of January.
The authority initiated plenty of legal and administrative instances. It opened investigations into expenses in opposition to 383 workers as a part of its ongoing efforts to advertise integrity and fight corruption in authorities entities.
A few of these arrested had been launched on bail. The staff belonged to a number of ministries, together with the Ministry of Protection, Ministry of Inside, Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, Ministry of Training, and Ministry of Well being. Nazaha has charged them with bribery and abuse of official positions.
