RIYADH — The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) has arrested 138 authorities staff over numerous corruption prices. Among the arrested individuals have been launched on bail, Nazah mentioned in an announcement on Monday.
The arrests have been made following 1,851 inspection excursions carried out by Nazaha officers throughout the month of August. The inspections resulted in conducting investigation into the costs in opposition to 416 suspects.
The authority clarified within the assertion that the detainees and people who are beneath investigation face prices of bribery and abuse of workplace. These staff have been working within the Ministry of Inside, Ministry of the Nationwide Guard, Ministry of Protection, Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, Ministry of Schooling, Ministry of Well being, Ministry of Human Sources and Social Improvement, and Ministry of Business and Mineral Sources, along with the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority.
