NCW releases 140 wild animals into King Salman Royal Reserve

RIYADH — The Nationwide Heart for Wildlife (NCW) has launched 140 wild animals into the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve as a part of ongoing applications to reintroduce endangered species. The initiatives goal to reinforce ecological stability and restore biodiversity in pure habitats.

The discharge, carried out in cooperation with the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Growth Authority, included 30 Arabian oryx, 70 reem gazelles (sand gazelles), and 40 houbara bustards.

The initiative varieties a part of efforts to reintroduce species to their pure habitats and set up secure, self-sustaining wildlife populations able to breeding, contributing to improved ecosystem functioning and sustainability.
