RIYADH — The Transport Basic Authority (TGA) has carried out over 340,000 inspections in land and maritime transport sectors throughout Saudi Arabia over the past month of August, leading to greater than 47,000 violations.

The land transport sector noticed probably the most exercise with 333,000 inspections, reaching an general compliance charge of 93 %. The maritime sector recorded a 99 % compliance charge from 7,502 inspections.

The Makkah area had the best variety of land transport violations with 10,841, adopted by Riyadh with 9,592 violations, and the Jap Province with 3,925 violations.
