RAFHA — The Pinwheel Galaxy (M101) was not too long ago noticed shining above the Al-Sahla space south of Rafha, showing close to the constellation Ursa Main, also referred to as the Nice Bear.
Barjas Al-Fulaih, a member of the AFAQ Society for Astronomy, informed the Saudi Press Company that M101 is an enormous spiral galaxy distinguished by its sweeping, well-defined arms that create a whirlpool-like form.
He famous that the galaxy is even bigger than the Milky Method and is thought for its many vibrant areas of energetic star formation.
Al-Fulaih added that the Pinwheel Galaxy lies about 27 million light-years from Earth, explaining that March is taken into account among the best occasions to look at it, significantly originally or finish of the month.
