QatarEnergy halts LNG and downstream manufacturing after missile, drone assaults

DOHA — QatarEnergy mentioned it has stopped manufacturing of liquefied pure gasoline (LNG) and related downstream merchandise following missile and drone assaults concentrating on amenities within the nation.

The corporate introduced that it’s suspending the manufacturing of a number of downstream merchandise in Qatar, together with urea, polymers, methanol, aluminum and different outputs.

On Monday, QatarEnergy ceased LNG manufacturing and associated operations at amenities in Ras Laffan Industrial Metropolis and Mesaieed Industrial Metropolis as a result of what it described as “navy assaults.”
