MADINAH — The Normal Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced the Ramadan visiting schedule for Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah on the Prophet’s Mosque.
Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah is the sacred space situated between the house of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) — now his noble chamber — and his minbar (pulpit).
For the primary 20 days of Ramadan, males could go to from 11:20 a.m. to eight:00 p.m. and from 2:00 a.m. to five:00 a.m. Ladies’s visiting hours throughout this era will likely be from 11:00 p.m. to 1:40 a.m. and from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Throughout the remaining 10 days of the holy month, the schedule will likely be adjusted. Males could have three visiting intervals — from 11:20 a.m. to eight:00 p.m., from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and from 2:00 a.m. to five:00 a.m. Ladies will likely be allotted a morning slot from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Though modest in measurement at roughly 330 sq. meters throughout the Prophet’s Mosque, the location holds deep religious significance. It’s described as “a backyard from the gardens of Paradise,” and hundreds of thousands of Muslims search to hope there annually.
Authorities emphasised that visits have to be booked prematurely via the Nusuk app to make sure a clean, organized and tranquil expertise for worshippers.
