Salaries Should Be Transferred By means of Official Platforms Beginning January 1 for Home Employees

The Ministry of Human Assets and Social Improvement (MHRSD) in Saudi Arabia introduced that paying home employee salaries via official channels will likely be necessary for all employers beginning January 1, 2026. The announcement was made via Musaned, the official platform for home employee companies within the Kingdom.

Musaned started making use of this rule to new home employees coming into Saudi Arabia for the primary time on July 1, 2024. This motion was carried out to chop down on money funds, make working situations higher for home employees, and make wage transfers quicker and safer.

The choice was steadily expanded to incorporate extra employers over time. In January 2025, it grew to become necessary for employers who’ve greater than 4 home employees. In July 2025, the rule was prolonged to employers with three or extra home employees. It was carried out for employers with two or extra home employees in October 2025.
