SAR launches worldwide freight route linking Gulf ports to Jordan border

DAMMAM — Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) has launched new worldwide freight routes linking Arabian Gulf ports to the Haditha border crossing close to Jordan.

The trains will originate from the Jap Province, departing from King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam and passing by Jubail Industrial Port and King Fahad Industrial Port earlier than reaching locations in Jordan and international locations north of the Kingdom.

Every freight prepare will carry greater than 400 containers and journey a route exceeding 1,700 kilometers.
