Saudi Arabia condemns Iranian assault on Oman after Duqm port strike

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Overseas Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s robust condemnation of a “heinous Iranian assault” on Oman and a blatant violation of its sovereignty.

In an announcement, the Kingdom affirmed its full solidarity with Oman and stated it stands prepared to position all its capabilities at Oman’s disposal in assist of any measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, safety and stability.

The Kingdom warned of the results of continued violations of state sovereignty by Iran, saying such actions undermine regional safety and stability.
