RIYADH — Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed on Monday 5 drones that had been focusing on Prince Sultan Air Base within the Riyadh area.
Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of the Ministry of Protection, introduced the interception and destruction of 5 drones close to Prince Sultan Air Base, south of Riyadh, along with two drones that tried to assault the Ras Tanura oil refinery within the Japanese Province.

A small hearth broke out on the refinery resulting from particles falling close to civilian areas through the interception, however no accidents had been reported.
