Saudi Arabia launches SR1.5 billion Estrdad initiative to refund authorities charges for SMEs

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia on Monday introduced the launch of the second version of the Estrdad initiative, a authorities price refund program price SR1.5 billion ($400 million) designed to assist micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The initiative permits eligible startups to reclaim 10 classes of presidency charges throughout their first three years of operation to enhance sustainability and development.

Refundable charges embrace 80 p.c of the expatriate levy, in addition to costs for industrial registration, municipality licenses, contract publication, Saudi Submit and Chambers of Commerce subscriptions, trademark and patent registration, and financial exercise licenses.

The addition of patent registration reimbursement within the new version is aimed toward selling innovation amongst nationwide enterprises.

The registration interval will run till the top of 2026, with disbursements to proceed by way of 2028.
