The Basic Ports Authority “Mawani” introduced the signing of a joint settlement between the Crimson Sea Gateway Terminal Firm, the nationwide operator of container terminals within the Kingdom, and the French CMA CGM Group, one of many largest delivery teams on this planet, to develop and function the fourth container terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port, with investments amounting to 1.7 billion riyals.


The terminal’s capability reaches 2.6 million normal containers.


The settlement was signed in the course of the ninth Future Funding Initiative convention held in Riyadh.

This partnership contributes to elevating the annual working capability of the Crimson Sea Gateway Firm to eight.8 million normal containers, in addition to enhancing the standard of companies and connecting the maritime networks to port clients, by benefiting from the worldwide protection of the CMA CGM Group and the operational platform of the Crimson Sea Gateway Firm.


It’s noteworthy that Jeddah Islamic Port is taken into account the biggest on the Crimson Beach, and comprises 62 multi-purpose berths.
