The Council of Ministers approves the modification of some articles of the system of service suppliers for pilgrims overseas

The Holy Mosque of Mecca


The Council of Ministers issued a choice approving the modification of some articles of the system of service suppliers for pilgrims overseas, issued by Royal Decree No. (M/111) dated 9/17/1440 AH.


The amendments included the abolition of “corporations of non secular leaders” and changing them with “pilgrimage hospitality” corporations, which stipulated the modification of Article (1) associated to definitions. As follows:


A– Deleting paragraph (5) associated to the definition of the leaders of sects, and rearranging the paragraphs of the article accordingly.


for– Amending Paragraph (7) – which grew to become Paragraph (6) – to learn as follows: 6- Pilgrimage Hospitality Firms she:


A– Firms licensed to serve pilgrims within the Holy Metropolis of Mecca and the Holy Websites.


for– The corporate licensed to offer water to pilgrims of their properties inside the metropolis of Mecca.


C– The corporate licensed to obtain and ship pilgrims to the Kingdom’s ports, and prepare the procedures for his or her return to their nation.


of the– The corporate licensed to serve guests to the Prophet’s Mosque.


Pilgrimage hospitality corporations are solely owned and managed by; Saudis, and it isn’t permissible to ascertain new corporations to host pilgrims.”


It additionally stipulates that the inheritance of shares in pilgrims’ hospitality corporations shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Private Standing Legislation, and the rules specify the provisions for exit for non-Saudi heirs.
