Rayan Fayez, Government Vice President of the NEOM mission, mentioned that work is underway to implement big and steady investments within the area’s infrastructure, noting that NEOM is a long-term mission that extends for generations to return, and we don’t intention to finish it in 2030.


He added, throughout a dialogue session on the Future Funding Initiative convention in Riyadh, that the feasibility of the tasks we’re implementing have to be constantly re-evaluated, and budgets are consistently reviewed, and it is rather necessary to give attention to what has confirmed to be economically profitable, and that when excited about the scale of the NEOM mission, regional developments have to be taken under consideration.

He defined that NEOM extends over an space exceeding 26 thousand sq. kilometers, and goals to redefine the idea of sustainable cities, noting that the implementation fee of some infrastructure tasks has reached 80%.

He pressured that NEOM seeks to draw about 9 million residents, with a present give attention to finishing its fundamental amenities, together with the airport that can serve all the area, saying: The principle function of those tasks is funding in infrastructure to be prepared earlier than we obtain residents and vacationers.
