ZATCA thwarts attempts to smuggle over 300,000 Captagon pills at border crossings

RIYADH — The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has foiled two separate makes an attempt to smuggle a complete of 301,325 Captagon tablets into the Kingdom by way of the Al-Haditha port and King Fahd Causeway.

ZATCA spokesman Hamoud Al-Harbi mentioned the primary try concerned 209,759 tablets hidden contained in the spare tire compartment of a automobile arriving through the King Fahd Causeway.

Within the second case, 91,566 tablets have been found hid inside components of a bus on the Al-Haditha border crossing.
