RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Energy–led consortium, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Electrical energy, Water and Renewable Power, Saudi Aramco, and the Kuwait Gulf Oil Firm have signed agreements to reinforce power cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The agreements had been signed within the presence of Saudi Minister of Power Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.
The settlement involving the ACWA-led consortium is linked to the Az-Zour North Section 2 and Section 3 Unbiased Water and Energy Mission (IWPP) in Kuwait, a significant infrastructure improvement valued at roughly $4.1 billion.
The undertaking contains the design, financing, development, operation and upkeep of an built-in facility anticipated to generate about 2,700 megawatts of electrical energy and produce as much as 120 million imperial gallons of desalinated water per day.
