Saudi Arabia Tightens Penalties for Visitors Violations with modification in Article 74 of Visitors Legislation

The Ministry of Inside, by the Normal Directorate of Visitors, introduced that adjustments are being made to Article 74 of the Visitors Legislation’s govt laws in cooperation with different authorities.


Key factors of the modification:

➤ The Ministry of Inside can deport non-Saudis if a closing courtroom ruling finds them responsible of harmful visitors violations.

➤ Deported people can even be banned from reentering Saudi Arabia, in coordination with the Ministry of Overseas Affairs, Ministry of Justice, and Public Prosecution.

Penalties for repeat violations:

🔘 Second offense inside one 12 months → The violator will face the utmost fantastic.

🔘 Third offense throughout the similar 12 months → The case will go to a reliable courtroom. The courtroom could both:

• Impose a jail sentence of as much as one 12 months, OR

• Double the fantastic from the second offense.
